We notice the frenzy and hurried 'rush' around us and we realize that we have entered the holiday zone. I've looked at a few of your holiday schedules and they are a flurry of continued activity. Why do we do this to ourselves? Holidays have become more about our schedules and the rush to get it all done than our families, the joy of the season and reminding ourselves how very blessed we are.
Do this for me- pick 3 days to do absolutely NOTHING outside your home. Make cookies, sit by the fie, watch a classic christmas movie, make hot chocolate, and if you are kid free for that day or always-stay in bed until noon. Make lasting memories that will survive the years.
Those moments form the fabric of a wonderful life. Let the holidays rush in- just don't rush with them.
