We arrive and check into the Swan Resort inside Walt Disney World. Over 600 kids are convening to meet industry agents and have a look inside the talent industry (300 actors and 300 models). There will be stars here from Disney and Nickelodeon that were discovered through this process.
The resort grounds are beautiful, complete with a faux beach, a pool, a lake, and much more. Caleb checked out a basketball court this morning.
The sun beats down on us as we lay in the hammock, watching the people walk by. There isn't a cloud in the sky.
Our room seems small, but I notice as the children get bigger- the space around us seems smaller and smaller - engulfed in our size. I didn't upgrade- so we are in a normal size room. Funny how frequent travelers often become so picky in our surroundings.
We walked over to registration for the event and found what seemed to be every possible attendee standing in the longest line I've ever seen. We decide to register later in the day when the line dies down.
For now, we continue to sway in the breeze on the hammock pretending that we don't have a single care in the world. We imagine that there is no other place on earth other than right here, right now.
